Q&A

What is foreskin restoration?

Foreskin restoration is the regrowth of a foreskin via cellular mitosis through application of long periods of tension to the remaining skin of the penis. Just like skin growth during excessive weight gain, the skin of the penis can be grown to once again envelope the head of the penis like a natural foreskin. And yes, the results are permanent.

Why people choose to restore their foreskin?

  • Increase sexual sensation
  • Regain natural skin glide to reduce or eliminate the need for lubricant
  • Prefer aesthetics of an intact penis
  • To hide their circumcision scar
  • Regain the freedom of personal choice

I’m circumcised and happy, what’s the big deal?

Antidotal accounts from those that were circumcised as adults give a natural foreskin a sexual sensation score of 10 out of 10. Sexual sensation years after circumcised is described as a 3 out of 10 but after restoring their foreskin, it’s described as a 8 out of 10. The possibility of going from a 3 to a 8 out of 10 is what drives most people to restore.

How long does it take to restore?

The shortest answer is years. Factors influencing the length of time vary considerably. Duration & frequency of tension used, amount of skin remaining after circumcision, penis size, genetics, and diet all contribute to the amount of time it may take. The only thing for certain is it takes considerable time, so it’s important you pick a regiment that will fit your lifestyle.

Does increased sensitivity lead to pre-mature ejaculation?

Antidotal reports of individuals online indicate more sensitivity only leads to increased pleasure with limited or no decrease in time until the ejaculatory reflex is triggered.

Is a restored foreskin exactly the same as the original?

Not all the original anatomical features can be regrown, but the result of a restored foreskin approximates the original so well it has even fooled urologists. The parts that can’t be restored include the frenulum, and ridged band. Certain types of nerves also cannot be restored. However, the new foreskin is believed have the same nerve type and density as the adjacent skin it was created from.

I’m intact but have a short foreskin, will this work for me too?

Yes, you can lengthen your foreskin with the FMD!

What is inner vs. outer foreskin?

Inner foreskin refers to the skin that lies against the head of the penis. The outer foreskin is the skin that covers the penis head but is exposed to air. The tip of the foreskin is the transition between inner and outer foreskin and is known as the ridged band.

Those that have been circumcised no longer have a ridged band, instead this is replaced with the circumcision scar. Thus the remaining inner foreskin is the skin from the scar to the head of the penis and the remaining outer foreskin is the shaft skin up to the scar.

Is the skin under the silicone sheath tensioned?

Yes, the silicone is stretchier than the skin, so as the silicone sheath stretches, so does the skin. You can also pre-tension the skin prior to rolling on the silicon sheath, which may provide some additional tension.

Why doesn’t your website model the FMD on a real person?

We utilize sketches to keep the website as “safe-for-work” friendly as possible so even minors can view our content.

Can I urinate through the FMD?

No, this is not a pee through device. The hole you see in the device is an air vent to prevent suction on the glans (head of penis). Attempting to pee with the device on will cause a mess.

How big is the FMD?

The specifications of each FMD size can be found by clicking here.

I have allergies, what is the product made from?

The FMD is made from silicone & PLA plastic. The string is nylon, the clip is metal, and the knitted elastic band is latex free. However, if you develop any sensitivities discontinue use immediately.

Does the FMD have any limitations?

The FMD primarily targets the outer skin. If you need to grow more inner skin, manual methods, an inflation device, or a bi-directional device may be more appropriate. Each device has their strengths and weaknesses. The FMD excels at comfort and a secure fit while tensioning the outer skin.

Depending upon how you were circumcised you may need to regrow more inner or more outer skin. Most restorers try to position the circumcision scar at the tip or just inside the preputial fold.

I’m experiencing gripper fatigue and/or pinching, how do I fix that?
